Nearly half of Queens’ 2.3 million residents were born overseas. Approximately 35% of Queens College students were born in another country, so students will gain a truly global perspective both inside and outside of the classroom.
New York City’s only Division II Athletics program. All students have access to the 40,000+ square feet of gymnasium space which includes five basketball and volleyball courts, 3,300 square feet of dance studios, six lanes of 25-yard length pool and indoor tennis courts. In addition to outdoor tennis courts, there is soccer, softball, baseball fields and a track and field area.
